Important note: Avengers: Infinity War, Black Panther, Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, and Incredibles 2 are still climbing up the box office rankings, so their positions could change over the coming days.
Disney-Pixar’s Incredibles 2 has crossed the $1 billion mark at the worldwide box office, making it the fourth film in 2018 to reach the milestone, behind Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom ($1.240), Black Panther ($1.346), and Avengers: Infinity War ($2.044).
According to Box Office Mojo, Incredibles 2 is now the 36th movie to cross the billion-dollar threshold, not adjusted for inflation. In the slideshow below, you can see the 35 other movies that have already joined the box office billionaires club.
While 2015 saw 5 movies hit $1 billion, 2018 is nearing that record with a few blockbusters left, like Aquaman, Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald, and Venom all looking to achieve box office glory.
