Characters from Persona 3, 4, and 5 will star, including Persona 3’s female protagonist.

Atlus has announced new details about Persona Q2.

Now called Persona Q2: New Cinema Labyrinth, the game will be released on Nintendo 3DS on November 29, 2018 in Japan. A Western release has still not been announced.

A new teaser trailer reveals that Persona Q2 will include the casts of Persona 3, Persona 4, and Persona 5, including Persona 3’s alternate female protagonist (who previously only appeared in Persona 3 Portable on PSP).

More details are expected in just a few days in an additional trailer coming on August 6 at 12:00 JST (August 5 at 8:00 PM Pacific Time), according to the Persona franchise’s official Japanese Twitter account.

Persona Q2 was first announced last year in Japan. Before today, we knew the game featured the Persona 5 protagonist, but had few other details beyond its planned 3DS release.

The original Persona Q came to 3DS in 2014. In addition to featuring the Persona 3 and Persona 4 casts and brand-new characters, it used Etrian Odyssey-style dungeon exploration as well as turn-based battles. For more, read IGN’s Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth review.
